Food Network chef selling NYC home in iconic building with ‘million-dollar view’

Food Network champ, TV personality and cookbook author Chef Priyanka Naik is listing her Kips Bay home for $1.35 million.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom corner unit is located at VU New York, a new construction luxury building featuring views of the Empire State and the Chrysler Buildings.

Naik, a self-taught vegan and sustainable chef and author of “The Modern Tiffen,” is known for her creative global recipes. Naik bought the charming abode, at 368 Third Ave., for $1.21 million in December 2021 — three months after signing a contract to buy it. She moved in shortly thereafter.

“It’s really hard to give up my home at VU, but I am selling to move into the next phase of my life with my partner. Whomever ends up buying my home will truly be lucky,” Naik told Gimme Shelter.

The 12th-floor home is 619 square feet. It features floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase city skyline views. There are also interiors by Paris Forino including an open chef’s kitchen with marble, bleached oak and white lacquer.

The main bedroom boasts custom built-out closets and blackout curtains that leave the city behind, while the bathroom is clad in marble.

Naik said she’ll miss the “million-dollar view of the most iconic buildings in the world,” as well as the natural light, the kitchen and access to “the best neighborhoods — Nomad, Gramercy and Flatiron.”

Building amenities include a gym with a yoga room, a screening room, a lounge and a landscaped rooftop. The 36-story, LEED-certified building comes with 100 units. Common charges are $799 a month.

The listing brokers are Candice Milano and Malessa Rambarran of Brown Harris Stevens.
