If you can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.
Demi Lovato sent at least one fan into a panic this week after sharing a cooking video of herself trying out a new recipe.
The awkward clip, posted by Lovato as part of her “Cooking With Demi” TikTok series on Tuesday, saw the “No Promises” singer attempt to roast a whole chicken.
“Today we are making a whole roasted chicken,” Lovato, 32, began the video. “It seems really overwhelming, but it’s not. We’re gonna have fun, and I’m telling myself this because I feel overwhelmed.”
“I’m just nervous!” she added after accidentally turning on the stove instead of the oven.
However, fans were taken aback after seeing the “Sorry Not Sorry” hitmaker’s hands shaking uncontrollably during different parts of the cooking video.
“I’m afraid of seeing her shaking that hard,” one person wrote after watching the latest video.

Lovato later chimed in and assured the worried follower that she was alright.
“I’m okay!” she responded. “I promise.”
The singer also acknowledged the challenge and her hesitation about roasting a whole chicken in the caption.
“On Cooking With Demi, we are all about facing our fears,” Lovato wrote. “Today, we did that by trying out a recipe for a whole roasted chicken.”
She added, “It wasn’t pretty at times, but it wasn’t nearly as overwhelming as I thought it would be and I’m really proud to have this recipe in my back pocket now.”

Lovato launched her “not-so official” cooking series on Instagram in July. The premiere episode featured the Disney alum baking brownies.
“A not-so official series where I test out my skills in the kitchen and start to find freedom and joy again with food,” she captioned the first episode. “First up, fudge brownies!”
Lovato’s latest video comes just months after her MMA fighter ex-boyfriend, Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos, was found dead in October. He was 38.
A case report released last month concluded Vasconcelos’ cause of death was suicide.
“Very, very sad,” Lovato wrote on social media following the news of his passing. “Darling, I send you love.”
