Teen shared haunting final post just weeks before her unexplained death on a Carnival Cruise
The teen passenger who recently died mysteriously on a Carnival cruise ship shared a haunting final post on social media just weeks before her death.
Anna Kepner, a high school senior from Titusville, Fla., had posted a bathroom-mirror selfie — complete with a caption about happiness — on TikTok on Oct. 30, her profile shows.
“You deserve to be happy but if it ain’t with me, then nvm,” the 18-year-old wrote alongside the snap.
The final post has since been flooded with heartfelt tributes after news of the teen’s death was made public.
Kepner had been on the Carnival Horizon cruise ship — which returned to Miami from the Caribbean on Saturday — when she died, her family has said.

It wasn’t immediately clear how or when she passed.
Authorities have released few details on the circumstances surrounding her death but noted they were investigating.
“She was a people person,” her grief-stricken family told ABC News in a statement as they paid tribute to the teen.
“She loved being around people. She had that type of energy that just drew you in with her smile and the way she carried herself. She was such an easy person to talk to.”
Kepner was meant to graduate high school in May and had aspirations of joining the military.
“She had just finished taking the test to join the military,” her family said. “She was already talking to recruiters and had chosen her career path. She wanted to do something that would help her community.”
Carnival Cruise Line confirmed a passenger had died on board the vessel but wouldn’t release any additional details.
“Our focus is on supporting the family of our guest and cooperating with the FBI,” the company said in a statement.
