Rob and Michele Reiner death reports pulled from Los Angeles Medical Examiner site at request of LAPD

Autopsy reports for legendary Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele are now being sealed as the homicide probe continues, the medical examiner said Monday.

The medical files, which were already made public in the wake of the couple’s slayings, were yanked from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner website after cops requested the court-ordered change last week.

“While the cause and manner of death were previously released in these cases, due to the court order, the information is no longer available,” a statement from the examiner’s office said.

“No other case information or records, including the Medical Examiner report, can be released or posted on the website until further notice.”

“The Department understands the public’s interest in these cases and remains committed to transparency when possible. Information will be made available once the court order is lifted,” it added.

The couple’s nepo-baby junkie son, Nick Reiner, is accused of killing his parents in their Los Angeles mansion back on Dec. 14.

The LAPD told the LA Times on Monday that they requested the order to seal case records in an attempt to ensure detectives learn “important information surrounding their deaths before the media and the public.”

“The order was not sought to undermine transparency,” cops said in a statement.

Under the order, which was signed off by Judge Deirdre Hill, all “investigative information, notes, reports or photos” tied to the case will now be banned from being released.

Similar security holds have been ordered in the past on other high-profile celebrity cases, including the deaths of Whitney Houston and actor Paul Walker.

The move comes as Nick Reiner remains behind bars after he was charged with two counts of murder for allegedly butchering his parents – just hours after he had an embarrassingly public blow-up with them at Conan O’Brien’s celeb-studded holiday party.

The couple was killed sometime in the early morning hours of Dec. 14 but weren’t found dead until the following afternoon, authorities said.

The couple’s privileged accused-killer son was nabbed several hours later roughly 14 miles from the crime scene.

The Post has reached out to the LAPD but did not immediately hear back.
