In addition to covering everything from Final Fours to the Stanley Cup Final to the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight, he writes college football's "Pigskin Profit" and college basketball's "Howie Hoops" betting columns. Howie is a Long Island native, who graduated from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland.
