Johnny has been The Post’s entertainment critic, its leading voice on movies and theater, since 2018. He began at The Post as an entertainment reporter in 2015. Before moving to New York, he was a theater writer/editor at the Chicago Tribune and was chief theater critic of Newcity Chicago. He is a voting member of the New York Drama Critics Circle. Johnny majored in theater at Illinois State University. He lives in the East Village, and can be heard every Tuesday morning at 9:30 on WOR Radio.
