Katcy Stephan

Katcy Stephan is an award-winning entertainment journalist. She was previously a film reporter at Variety, where she wrote breaking news, features and cover stories on stars including Billie Eilish, Amy Adams and Rachel Zegler. Katcy first joined Variety as its social media editor, nearly doubling the brand's following under her leadership. She has also worked for Access Hollywood and BuzzFeed News, where she created content for social platforms and made regular television appearances as an on-camera media and pop culture expert. Katcy graduated from Providence College (Go Friars!) before earning her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California. She’s a big fan of crossword puzzles and her rescue pup, Hank.
