Super Bowl 2024 MVP Patrick Mahomes kisses wife Brittany after wild win
The Super Bowl 2024 MVP celebrated the Chiefs’ latest championship victory with his real-life MVP.
Moments after Kansas City topped the San Francisco 49ers in overtime on Sunday, 25-22, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes kissed wife Brittany on the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where he was named Super Bowl MVP for the second year in a row.
Joined by their children, daughter Sterling, 2, and son Bronze, 1, the family of four enjoyed the moment after it rained yellow and red confetti.
Mahomes threw for 333 yards, two touchdowns and an interception en route to his third Super Bowl win in five seasons.
“It means a ton,” Mahomes said postgame, according to ESPN. “I’m proud of my guys, man, this is awesome. It’s legendary.”
In addition to winning the Super Bowl MVP title this year and last, when the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in February 2023, Mahomes received the nod in 2020 when he got his first championship win in Miami, also against the 49ers.

It’s been a celebratory week for Mahomes and his family, with Brittany — his high school sweetheart whom he’s been married to since March 2022 – being named a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie.
The publication unveiled sultry snaps from her debut shoot ahead of Super Bowl Sunday.
“I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” Brittany said in an interview with SI Swimsuit.
“As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
Mahomes and Brittany, 28, weren’t the only members of Chiefs Kingdom who shared a special moment on the field after Sunday’s win.
Tight end Travis Kelce shared a passionate kiss with his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Swift, who has become tight with Brittany in recent months, was in town this weekend following four Eras Tour shows in Tokyo, Japan.
It remains to be seen if the couples will celebrate the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win together at Kansas City’s victory parade.
