Everyone wants a supportive partner, particularly when it comes to swimwear.
But for those blessed with big boobs, that wish becomes a requirement.
Luckily, swimsuit manufacturers have been fashioning up-to-the-minute styles and colors for DD+ cups, featuring strategic cuts, uplifting underwires and soft compression fabrics. The best ones are comfortable, provide just the right amount of coverage on dry land and in the water, and make you look riviera-ready.
Take Cosabella’s new Vita Marina collection, which comes in an array of brights. “It is inspired by the vibrant shores of the Italian coast,” said Dani Read, Head of Design at the company. “The Curvy styles are specially designed for those with smaller frames and fuller busts, and offer ample amounts of coverage without sacrificing style.”
Read created several convertible pieces, including a bandeau bikini top with power mesh lining and an extra support band. “There are 4 ways to wear it: as a bandeau with [a bow] in front, as a bandeau tied below the band, as a criss-cross halter, and as a classic style with adjustable straps attached,” she says.
All of the pieces are made of Italian fabric with an ultraviolet protection factor of 50+, as well as anti-pilling, snag-resistant and wrinkle-free technology.
While none of the Vita Marina styles are fitted with underwires — power mesh provides the shaping — many other brands feature that extra boost. For instance, TA3 Swim’s “Lifty” swimsuit has a flattering corset-style cut, a sexy lace-up back and it’s available in cup sizes up to J/K.
