The debuts of ABC’s “It’s like, you know …” and “The Norm Show” performed well Wednesday night.
Based on preliminary national Nielsen info, “The Norm Show” is the third-highest-rated comedy network premiere this season (adults 18-49).
“It’s like” also performed well among adults 18-49 and scored a strong 633,000 households on Ch.7.

Everybody loves Joan and Melissa Rivers.
The mother-daughter gossip duo helped E! score the best total-day ratings in its eight-year history on Sunday (405,000 households) as E! provided 11 hours (!) of Oscar coverage.
E!’s ratings were 28 percent higher than last year’s Oscar coverage, peaking with Joan and Melissa (6-8 p.m.).

Having a ball
NBC notched its best-ever NBA ratings for the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, with Sunday’s Lakers-Magic game scoring 5.1 million households – up 50 percent over last year’s Knicks-Jazz game on March 22.

*”CBS News’ This Morning” is the only network morning news show to post a household ratings gain season-to-date (up 4 percent).
*ABC’s “Good Morning America” was up 11 percent in total viewers last week.
*NBC’s “Dateline” was Wednesday’s highest-rated newsmagazine with a 9.2 rating (9.2 million households).
