The teen accused of masterminding a grisly Long Island cemetery body-swiping caper will soon be charged with stealing a church van, police said.
Michael Herz, 18, of Patchogue, took the van belonging to the Patchogue Church of Christ, went joy riding and then crashed it into a lake, said Detective Bryan McMenemy. “The keys were in the van – it was a target of opportunity,” said McMenemy.
