St. Raymond’s players seem to have a knack for getting injured. Ricky Torres is no exception.
The 6-foot-3 junior tripped during sprints earlier in the week and was sent for an MRI on his knee.
“It doesn’t seem serious,” head coach Oliver Antigua said. “But you want to be safe.”
Antigua has reason to be nervous, having seen stars like Allan Ray and Louie McCroskey go down during the past few seasons.
“Hopefully our luck is better this time,” Antigua said.
