An inmate serving in an upstate prison has been indicted in the brazen 2002 murder of a city water supervisor during a botched robbery in Queens, prosecutors said.
Taiquan Williams, 26, told cops to investigate two other men, but detectives later decided it was the tipster himself who was guilty, sources said.
Williams will be arraigned later this week on charges of murder, robbery and weapons possession in the Aug. 9, 2002, shooting of Eugene McMahon, 46, a Department of Environmental Protection night supervisor.
