Cops busted an alleged police impersonator who terrorized and robbed two helpless DVD hawkers in Brooklyn, flashing a badge and cuffing his victims before swiping their wares and cash, officials said yesterday.
Joseph Gheraldi, 27, allegedly displayed a gold, star-shaped shield before placing his unsuspecting victim under “arrest,” according to court papers.
Gheraldi was held on $10,000 bail following his arraignment yesterday on a slew of charges including criminal impersonation, kidnapping, robbery and grand larceny.
