The good news is the hardest working man in basketball, Berman, is off for the weekend, the bad news is he left me the keys.
So let’s take this blog for a spin. First off, I have a question for you guys:
Would you be happy if the Knicks finished below .500, but made the playoffs? Would that be a successful year?
It is very possible, of course, because the Knicks are 7-14, but just a game-and-a-half out of first in the Atlantic. It is a division that is worse than saying 4/2=3. (Get it, I’ll be here all weekend.)

After being around the team following practice today, I think the Knicks are a bit nervous about Saturday night’s game at the Garden. I think it is safe to say at 2-8, things have already snowballed at home. These guys seemed freaked to play there.
All I know, if the Knicks guard the perimeter like they did against Gilbert Arenas and the Wizards, then Michael Redd might throw up 50 and the “Fire Isiah!” chants will be louder than a Metallica concert.
