Joey Buttafuoco’s wife yesterday withdrew her divorce petition against her husband – even after the Long Island lothario hinted he was hooking up again with femme fatale Amy Fisher.
Evanka Buttafuoco, 45, was granted a dismissal from the family law clerk of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, voiding her divorce request filed May 4.
Mrs. Buttafuoco No. 2 sought a divorce on the same day Fisher’s husband, Lou Bellera, asked for a split from his wife in Suffolk County.
The simultaneous divorce filings fueled speculation that Buttafuoco and Fisher were hooking up again.
Fisher, once dubbed the Long Island Lolita, and Buttafuoco made national headlines in 1992. Their illicit affair ended with a teen Fisher shooting Buttafuoco’s then-wife, Mary Jo, in the head.
Fisher, now 32, and Joey Buttafuoco, 51, were photographed making out in New York shortly after Evanka’s filing, and a TV producer pitched a reality show based on the former lovers moving in together.
