I’m a religious New York Post reader from the Philadelphia area, and riding the train home from work today, I was laughing out loud at Andrea Peyser’s column (“Slay Case Pawsitively Loony Waste of Money,” Sept. 17).
Good stuff, Peyser!
I agree that taxpayers’ money is being wasted on inane lawsuits.

I have read some of Peyser’s columns and find them to be wildly opposing to my own views, but I have always said that no one makes me read them.
But, in her piece on the killing of Norman the cat, Peyser has gone off the deep end.
I’m not going to waste time writing what kind of person would write such trash – instead I blame your newspaper for printing it.

Peyser’s foray into the realm of shock-jock antics has undoubtedly caused some “issues.”
With the election season in full swing, this may not be the best time for The Post to get off track.
You have a job to do and an agenda to tirelessly pursue, yet you have allowed an opinion writer to hog the spotlight.
Even loyal conservatives are likely appalled at Peyser’s heartless rhetoric.

I think you need to fire Peyser. She is a rude person and should not be allowed to voice her opinion.
I want to leave all my kitty litter on her front door. To blame a cat for his own death is just evil.
