Sarah Palin has obtained a new restraining order against the Pennsylvanian man who began stalking her family in 2009, alleging that he threatened to rape her daughter.
The former Alaska governor claimed in legal documents that 19-year-old Shawn Christy had become more “brazen” in his threats to harm Palin and her family, including raping her daughter, TMZ reported Thursday.
It is not clear in the documents which daughter was the specific target of the rape threats, but Palin went on to say that the stalker had targeted 16-year-old Willow in some of his threats and it “bothered [her] tremendously.”
According to the documents, Christy telephoned Palin’s house, calling her a “slut or whore.” The alleged calls scared the family so much that they “made sure we armed ourselves,” according to Sarah Palin’s father, Chuck Heath.
A judge in Anchorage made the new temporary restraining order official last week and Palin, 47, is due back in court on April 27 to make the order permanent.
Christy was issued a court order in October warning him to keep away from the former Republican vice-presidential candidate after he sent her threatening emails and letters and receipts from a gun purchase.
