The blockbuster biography of Steve Jobs coming out today confirms what the tech blogs have been saying for months — Jobs was working on an Apple TV set when he died.
“He very much wanted to do for television sets what he had done for computers, music players and phones: make them simple and elegant,” the author, Walter Isaacson, wrote.
“I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use,” Jobs told Isaacson.
Users won’t have to have to “fiddle with complex remotes for DVD players and cable channels,” the book says.
“I finally cracked it,” Jobs reportedly told him.
