Summer seems a long way off, but music fans are already thinking ahead. The fifth annual Governors Ball will be held at Randalls Island on June 5-7 (tickets are on sale at govball.com), bringing together some of the biggest names in rock, pop, EDM and beyond.
The preliminary lineup includes the Black Keys, Deadmau5, Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine, and Ryan Adams — but here are the five acts The Post is most excited to see.
Drake
Even though 2015 has barely started, all signs points to Drake being everywhere this year. The Canadian rapper’s new album, “Views From the 6,” is likely to drop in the next few months, a Coachella headline slot is already confirmed, and he’ll be one of the biggest attractions at Governors Ball, too.
Bj?rk
The tour for Bj?rk’s 2011 album, “Biophilia,” featured specially built instruments, innovative audio-visual elements and the Icelandic artist performing while wearing what looked like a giant, ginger bird’s nest on her head. Lord only knows what she’ll have in store for Randalls Island.
St. Vincent
Her fabulously well-choreographed live shows during 2014 confirmed St. Vincent (a k a Annie Clark) as the cream of the New York indie-rock crop. Her appearance is guaranteed to be one hell of a homecoming.
Tame Impala
You don’t need to dabble in illicit substances to have your mind expanded at Governors Ball. Aussie outfit Tame Impala will do the job just as well, thanks to their pulsating psych-rock.
Weird Al Yankovic
Too-cool-for-school types may sneer, but come June, even they will be watching Weird Al tear it up with his arsenal of parodies. Everyone has a favorite — and chances are he’ll play it.
