Two men stabbed each other during a squabble in a Midtown subway station early Monday, cops said.
The two men — ages 22 and 29 — were fighting on the northbound D train platform at 7th Avenue and West 53rd Street around 1:30 a.m., when the older man stabbed his rival in the chest and face, police said.
The younger man then grabbed the knife and stabbed the older one in the torso, cops said.?
Both are in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital — and in police custody, police said.
Neither man was immediately charged.
The incident comes amid rampant violence on the rails — including a man struck with a hammer on a Brooklyn train early Sunday.
