Mekhi Becton was the only Jet to miss practice on Friday, with the team citing an illness for the right tackle as the reason for his absence.
Becton was limited earlier in the week with a right knee injury, so the illness is new.
It is not clear whether it will affect his status for the season opener Monday night against the Bills.
Assuming he does play, the 2020 12th-overall pick will have a huge opportunity in front of him after he missed nearly two straight seasons with various injuries.
Becton is slated to start at right tackle after moving over from the left side earlier in training camp.
That came after the offensive line was a consistent problem for the Jets in the early days of camp.

The hope is for Becton to deliver on the talent that made him a high-end draft pick — a big part of which involves staying on the field — and quell any potential issues before they arise in a regular-season game.
If Becton does not play Monday, Max Mitchell would likely be the next man up at right tackle, though Billy Turner could also be an option.
The Jets have been relatively successful against Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
The 2020 MVP has a 6-3 career record against them, averaging 226.8 passing yards per game and 6.78 yards per attempt, compared to overall career marks of 238.9 and 7.2.

“With him, it’s just about staying active,” defensive end John Franklin-Myers told The Post. “You see guys kinda rushing scared. But us, nah, we’re gonna go rush. We’re gonna try to go win rushes and win those one-on-ones and get him off the spot. And then just play with effort and make him make a bad decision.”
Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said he plans to call plays from the sideline on Monday.
That will, however, come with significant influence from the rest of the Jets’ offensive staff.
Passing game coordinator Todd Downing, along with others, will talk to Hackett from the press box.
But Hackett will be the one relaying calls to Aaron Rodgers.
“I’m whispering sweet nothings to him,” Hackett joked.
LT Duane Brown (shoulder) and RB Breece Hall (knee) were limited in practice for the Jets. … Bills S Micah Hyde (back) was a full participant in practice Friday after he was limited Thursday.
