All the celebrities affected by the deadly LA wildfires: Tina Knowles, Miles Teller and more

Some of the biggest stars in Hollywood are among the 180,000 (and counting) Los Angeles-area residents who have been forced to evacuate their homes due to the devastating wildfires in Southern California.

The crisis started with the Pacific Palisades fire on Tuesday morning, followed by more fires that sparked in neighboring areas Eaton, Woodley, Hurst and more.

Anthony Hopkins, Billy Crystal, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, and Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are among the stars who have lost their homes in the fires.

Eric Christian Olsen

“NCIS: Los Angeles” star Eric Christian Olsen lost his $1.35 million Pacific Palisades home in the fires, his wife Sarah Wright Olsen revealed on Instagram.

“It’s impossible to put into words these last few days. We are together and safe and surrounded by love,” Wright wrote.

“We lost our home. It was one of the first areas to go. Our kids have said ‘we all took our first steps there.’ It’s so hard to say goodbye to our gorgeous town, our special school, and this place we have loved for 13 years. But we are so so grateful we are together and for the outpouring of love.”

Joshua Jackson

“First and most importantly, all the people closest to me affected by the fire are OK,” Joshua Jackson said in a statement. “My daughter, my family, my neighbors all made it out safely.”

“Sadly my beautiful home did not survive the fires,” added the actor. “But today, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the people I love.”

Ryan O’Neal

Ryan O’Neal’s daughter, Tatum O’Neal, revealed the house her late father shared with actress Farrah Fawcett has burned down.

“It’s the saddest ever, so sad I could cry,” the Oscar winner, 61, wrote on Threads Saturday. “My father’s house is gone Malibu gone.”

“Gone gone gone gone. It’s so scary. I am so freaking sad,” she added in a follow-up post about her father’s former home.

Maeve Reilly

Celebrity stylist Maeve Reilly shared the devastating news about her and husband Zach Quittman’s Pacific Palisades home, writing on Instagram, “our entire house and all our belongings are gone.”

“Every item told a story: the photos that captured cherished moments, the trinkets passed down through generations, and the little things that made our house a home. The items purchased on trips holding beautiful memories, the fashion archive I’ve worked my entire career to pass on to my children. My wedding dress. Zach’s kids belongings. Everything gone,” Reilly continued. “We are so grateful we made it out alive and with our animals. We have no idea what’s next. Please pray for us.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian’s Malibu home was left standing after the Pacific Palisades fire destroyed thousands of homes and businesses.

However, Thursday night, Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian all fled their Hidden Hills homes in Calabasas. The family followed the mandatory evacuation order that was issued due to the Kenneth Fire, which spread across 1,000 acres in a few hours.

The evacuation order has now been lifted.

Milo Ventimiglia

Milo Ventimiglia held back tears as he visited the charred remains of his Malibu home, which burned to the ground just days before his wife is due to give birth to their first child.

“You start thinking about all the memories and the different parts of the house and whatnot and then you see your neighbors’ houses and everything around and your heart just breaks,” he told CBS Evening News on Thursday.

Jennie Garth

Jennie Garth shared an update on Thursday, revealing that she and her family fled their home in Los Angeles home and are staying with her ex-husband, actor Peter Facinelli.

“I wanted to let you know that we are safe,” Garth captioned her clip. “Peter and his family took us in and have been so kind. I am grateful we are all ok and have a home to return to. This will affect people differently, so reach out, and offer to help, it really does mean so much.”

Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson returned home to find his $14.5 million Malibu mansion had been “perfectly burnt” following his appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast in Austin, Texas.

“I was kind of ill at ease while we were talking because I knew my neighborhood was on fire, so I thought, ‘I wonder if my place is still there,’” the actor told NewsNation’s “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” Thursday evening. “But when I got home, sure enough, it wasn’t there.”

“It’s just a thing but it’s obviously devastating. It’s emotional,” Gibson added. “You know, we have lived there for a long time.”

Bryan Greenberg

On Wednesday Bryan Greenberg shared an update on his wellbeing following the fires along with a picture of the ruins of his and wife Jamie Chung’s home after the blaze.

“Family is safe and that’s all that matters. Everything else is just stuff. Thanks for checking in. Stay safe out there!” he wrote. “It was all a dream. Thankfully the family is safe. Thank you to all of the firefighters risking their lives. Stay safe out there.”

Beyoncé’s mother revealed her beloved Malibu bungalow burned down in the Palisades fire. She called it “my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred Happy Place,” adding, “Now it is gone.”

Miles Teller

The “Top Gun: Maverick” actor shared that the Pacific Palisades home he shared with his wife, Keleigh Sperry, was reduced to rubble. The pair bought the house last year. 

Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam

The “How I Met Your Mother” star and “Saturday Night Live” alum’s home since 2017 was destroyed. The couple, who wed in 2012, bought the five-bedroom, six-bathroom house before it underwent a yearlong renovation, which Smulders detailed to Architectural Digest.

Melissa Rivers

Rivers’ home burned down in the Palisades fire, the star confirmed to CNN. She said she saved an Emmy earned by her late mom, Joan Rivers, a picture of her father and a drawing that her mother had done of her and her son.

Jhené Aiko

The singer revealed her “dream” house “burned to the ground” in the Palisades Fire. The star posted emotional messages on social media, sharing that she and her children made it out alive and that they would be “starting from scratch.”

Bridges’ four-bedroom Malibu home was destroyed in the Palisades fire, his rep confirmed to TMZ.

Candy Spelling

Spelling told TMZ she lost her house in Malibu to the blaze.

“I’m in shock and processing this massive loss for our family. I am beyond grateful for the memories. It was truly a wonderful gift to have,” she said of her home.

Spelling put the house up for sale for $24 million last year, but later took it off the market.

Billy Crystal

The actor and comedian and wife Janice Crystal’s home in the Pacific Palisades burned down on Jan. 8.

The couple lived in the house for 46 years and raised their two daughters there.

“Words cannot describe the enormity of the devastation we are witnessing and experiencing. We ache for our friends and neighbors who have also lost their homes and businesses in this tragedy,” Crystal, 76, said in a statement to People magazine.

“Janice and I lived in our home since 1979. We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away. We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this,” the statement added.

Anthony Hopkins

Hopkins’ $6 million Pacific Palisades home was lost in the fire.

Photos showed the charred remains of the Oscar winner’s four-bedroom, five-bathroom residence.

The reality couple’s family home, reportedly worth $3 million, burned down on Jan. 7. Pratt recorded the horrific experience as firefighters battled the blaze.

The MTV star shared that his parents’ home in the Pacific Palisades was also destroyed by the fire.

Montag broke down in tears over losing her house in a TikTok video. “I’m so sad our house is gone. I wish I could have gone back and got more,” she said.

The actors’ $6.5 home in the Pacific Palisades burned to the ground.

Photos obtained by Page Six showed the property engulfed in fire Wednesday, with flames bursting through a garage door and the roof completely gone.

Paris Hilton

Hilton’s Malibu beach house was destroyed in the Palisades fire.

“Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” the “Simple Life” star wrote while sharing local news coverage of her area.

“This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” Hilton added of her children.

Anna Faris

Faris’ $5 million Pacific Palisades mansion turned into char and ash after being hit by the fire.

“Anna and her family are safe and very grateful,” a rep for the “House Bunny” actress told People.

She bought the mansion in 2019 after her split from husband Chris Pratt.

Eugene Levy

The “Schitt’s Creek” star lost his $3.9 million Pacific Palisades home to the blaze.

Levy told the Los Angeles Times on Jan. 7 that he got trapped in traffic among other fleeing residents attempting to leave their neighborhood.

“The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon,” the “American Pie” star said. “I couldn’t see any flames, but the smoke was very dark.”

Sarah Levy

Eugene’s daughter, Sarah Levy, also lost her home in the fire. The “Schitt’s Creek” star made the sad announcement on her Instagram.

“Oh, my sweet home. My heart so deeply aches. What I would give to hear the key slide in the front door one more time or the baby gate click behind me as I bring the laundry upstairs,” she wrote in part.

“Luckily we are all safe and if this has taught me nothing else, it’s to appreciate every last detail of your life. I know we’ll be back and the Palisades will be more vibrant and lush and full of life than ever. We’ll wait until then.”

John Goodman

Goodman’s $4.6 million home in the Pacific Palisades was reduced to ash, photos taken on Jan. 8 confirmed.

The “Roseanne” actor bought the 5,250-square-foot house in 2008. It had five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Cameron Mathison

The “All My Children” alum confirmed his LA home was destroyed in the Palisades fire.

Mathison shared an Instagram video of the aftermath of the destruction on Jan. 8.

Ricki Lake

Lake confirmed she lost her “dream home” in Malibu.

“It’s all gone. I can’t believe I am typing these words,” she wrote on Instagram on Jan. 8.

Lake said the house was where she and husband Ross Burningham “planned to grow old together.” The couple got married there in 2022.

Ben Affleck

Affleck was forced to evacuate his $20.5 million mansion on Jan. 7 due to the Palisades fire. He was seen driving up to the house, taking in how close the fire was and fleeing.

TMZ reported that the “Argo” director went to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s house nearby.

Affleck returned to his house on Jan. 8 to find that it survived the wildfire.

He bought the five-bedroom, six-bathroom abode after he separated from his now-ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

James Woods

Woods evacuated his Pacific Palisades home on Jan. 7 as the fire was reaching his neighborhood.

The “Ghosts of Mississippi” actor later told CNN in an emotional interview that he and his family were at the “exact epicenter of the fire as it started” and had to leave with the “clothes on our back.”

“There was so much chaos. It was like an inferno,” Woods said. “Every house was on fire around us.”

Woods also revealed that he helped save his 94-year-old neighbor, who has dementia, during the crisis.

Mandy Moore

Moore and her kids fled their LA home on Jan. 7 and went to a friend’s house that was far enough away from the dangerous fires.

“Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night. Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it,” she said on Instagram.

On Jan. 9, Moore revealed parts of her home were destroyed and shared photos of the wreckage.

“We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing,” she wrote. “For now. It’s not livable but mostly intact.”

“We lost our garage and back house,” Moore continued. “Everyone we know lost everything.”

The “Star Wars” actor evacuated his Malibu home on Jan. 7 as the fire made it to his neighborhood.

He confirmed that he and his wife, Marilou York, and their dog, Trixie, safely made it to his daughter Chelsea’s house in Hollywood.

“Most horrific fire since ’93,” Hamill said.

Sandra Lee

The celebrity chef evacuated her longtime home in Malibu on Jan. 7 and recorded videos of the terrifying fire as it was reaching her “doorstep.”

“As the fire draws closer, I pray for it — I pray for everyone in Los Angeles right now. What an incredibly terrifying moment for my community,” Lee said.

Jamie Lee Curtis

The “Freaky Friday” actress was already on a flight to New York when the fire ripped into her Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

She got emotional about the tragedy on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” Wednesday.

“It’s f–king gnarly, you guys,” Curtis said. “It’s a catastrophe in Southern California. Obviously there has been horrific fires in many places. This is literally where I live. Everything.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Montecito, where the Sussexes live in a sprawling $29 million mansion, is so far not in an evacuation zone.

They are facing a potential power outage to their nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom pad.

Southern California Edison confirmed that it was considering a “Public Safety Power Shutoff” in parts of Santa Barbara County due to the wildfire risk, the Telegraph reported. Impacted residents, including those in Harry and Markle’s neighborhood, were being contacted by the power company.

The couple infamously moved to Montecito after abandoning their life in the UK in 2020.

Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford tried to return to his Brentwood home on Tuesday after evacuating. Flash / BACKGRID

Ford evacuated his $12.6 million Brentwood home that was threatened by the Palisades blaze.

On Tuesday, the “Shrinking” actor was seen talking with police officers as he checked on his home.

Ford pulled up in a black Tesla and spoke with the LAPD officers.

Whitney Cummings

The comedian confirmed she was evacuating her home in Topanga on Wednesday.

She filmed a TikTok from inside her at-home podcast studio and told her fans, “I have everything like my son’s birth certificate. But just to leave to leave all this …”

“I don’t know what I’m gonna lose but it’s weirdly like, you really find out what matters to you when you have to evacuate,” Cummings added.

Elwes evacuated his Malibu home on Jan. 7. The next day, he confirmed his house was destroyed in the blaze.

“Sadly, we did lose our home but we are grateful to have survived this truly devastating fire,” the “Days of Thunder” actor wrote on Instagram. “Our hearts go out to all the families impacted by this tragic event and we also wish to extend our gratitude to all the firefighters, first responders and law enforcement who worked so tirelessly through the night and are still at it.”

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen

Legend, Teigen, their four kids and their pets took shelter at a hotel after fleeing their $17.5 million Beverly Hills mansion on Jan. 8.

“This is surreal,” Teigen wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photo of herself pack up her closet. “I’m very scared now. Packing.”

She later confirmed they brought their four dogs and bearded dragon with them to the hotel.
